Faux-Mink vs Silk Faux-Mink

What's the big difference? 

Silk mink is like a textile fiber, light-weight, fine and flexible than synthetic, hold longer than synthetic lashes. They can be made to look very natural or very glamorous, but not quite as dense/thick as the synthetic lashes. Because they are lighter weight, they are often a better option for your lashes if your own ones are weak or fine.  Silk come in a variety of curls and lengths, though are a better option for a more natural look, Glamour sets of silk lashes are one of the most popular options for brides, who are looking for lashes that are full and long yet still natural looking. 

Faux mink eyelash extensions are the most popular extensions used by lash artists today. These man made, poly-fiber lashes come in a variety of lengths, diameters and curls, have good flexibility and remain somewhat natural looking depending on the length. They're designed to imitate real mink fur, but lash artists and clients both love this of extension type because the curl is permanent and they're low maintenance. The Faux Mink lashes are a little more bold, slightly glossier than the Silk and Mink. Because of their variety of size and length they're great for customizing different looks for each client.  It used to be the main source for 3D volume lash, because it's stronger than silk but now the Silk has improved substantially, Silk Mink is most preferable to most clients.
 

Preparation

• Clean lashes removing any oil and debris from makeup 
• Avoid coffee consumption prior 2 hours of service, because coffee might keep your eyes actively rolling
• Avoid mascara or eye makeup
• If this is your 1st time having eyelashes extension, please let us know prior scheduling and service
• Which style of eyelashes do you like the most, and what's your preference in terms of likes and dislikes 
• Bring a photo if you wish to look like
• ​To ensure you have the best experience and comfortable lashes, please be on-time for your appointment

Post Care

Avoid oil or water based mascara for at least 48 hours after service to let adhesive to dry.
By the way,  you won't need to use mascara.

• After washing your face, wiping  gently above the eyelips
  
• Clean lashes nightly with baby shampoo, remove dirty particles helping natural lashes growth healthier
• With clean eyelids, more oxygen can be breath in/out provides  healthier lashes for growth
• Avoid going to sauna, steam room, the heat may cause the bonds to weaken
• Lash refills/Touch-ups  every 3-4 weeks to keep the natural lashes healthy, by adding  more lashes to  near mature lashes and removing old lashes are about to fall off. Plu Also by removing dirty particles, it support natural lashes growth stronger and healthier. 
• Preferably a full set Re-lash application in every 3 months ​because the average cycle of a  Single lash is about 100 days, thus re-lashing every lash will achieve the fullness volume effects, look brighter, bigger, and more youthful. The color of your eyes will be brighter because the high contrast in color between the skin tone, eye color and lashes. 
• Daily cleansing routine is important to make sure no bacteria settles on your lashes. One tip: wash your lashes with a special lash poo that contains baking soda, in an upwards motion so that your lash curve lasts longer.

Cancellation / Notice

To ensure you have the best experience and comfortable lashes, please be on-time for the appointment. 
We understand that sometimes things can suddenly pop up, but please provide us with a minimum of 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  If appropriate notice is not given, there will be a sub-charged  80%  for re-booking fee.  
Please refrain from texting/talking on the phone during service because the active eye movement will shift your eyelashes. 
If you are late, you might need to revisit for the remaining session.
